FILES
To download STL files, go to the printables model page. Files are organised into folder structure based on the part location or purpose. This is the only official source of STL files and is always kept up to date.
STEP files are currently available as a bonus to Patreon members only (even for one time small purchase)
Before printing anything, let’s take a quick look at the folder and filename structure.
The folder structure is intentionally simple, designed to help you organize parts based on their placement on the printer.
The filenames follow a consistent format based on the parts position, but also include a small note in brackets.
STANDART FILE NAMING
A typical filename looks like this: filename_[M-2].stl. The bracket contains two (or three) important pieces of information:
COLOR
M= main colorA= accent colorX= assembly-use only, part is not used on the final printer, use any color
QUANTITY
- A number indicates how many pieces to print
OPTIONS
- Some parts also include additional description before the standard
M-1in brackets, which indicates a variant of the part or the build, some examples below:Goliath= Use only with Goliath hotend, eg.V-ION_th-body_[Goliath-M-1].stl5015= Use only with 5015 for part cooling, eg.V-ION_th-cooling_ducting_[5015-M-1].stlCPAP= Use only with CPAP (WS7040) for part cooling, eg.EL_CPAP_body_[CPAP-M-1].stlMcooling= Use only with motor cooling (optional), eg.EL_cover_top_fan-R_[Mcooling-M-1].stl4WD= Use only with 4WD setup (optional), eg.XY_L_bottom_[4WD-M-1].stl- and more…
- This means if the description doesn’t match your build, don’t print the part even if there is a non-zero number.
MODS / REMIXES
